Know the Symptoms of Heart Disease

Heart problems, such as coronary, cardiomyopathy, and valvular heart diseases, are the most prevalent killers of both men and women today.

Heart disease is something we should all take seriously because the damage can become too great to repair if left untreated for too long.

Today, we're going to list the common symptoms of heart disease. Granted, many of these symptoms can be caused from other ailments, but please, don't take any of them lightly. See your doctor if you think you or a loved one should be concerned.

Common Symptoms/Signs of Heart Disease Include:

  • Difficulty in breathing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest pain
  • Jaw pain
  • Balance problems
  • Dizziness
  • Bluish skin color
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Rapid hear beat
  • Palpitations
  • Fainting
  • Weakness
  • Edema
  • Angina
  • Vertigo
  • Cough
  • Coughing blood
  • Abnormal pulse
  • Memory issues
  • Numbness and tingling
  • Lightheadedness
  • Fever
  • Weight Loss
  • Weight gain

You should never let any of these symptoms go untreated, therefore, please see your physician immediately if you experience any of them for a prolonged period of time. In extreme cases such as difficulty breathing, bluish skin, fainting, coughing blood, or anything quite unordinary, do not hesitate to seek emergency care right away.
